Atlantica Online: Mystore explanation (How to profit from Mystore in game)
Within Atlantica online there are two very simple means to sell off your old items. The first is of course, the method the tutorial helps teach you about. The Market. It is a simple interface accesible in town that let's you check the prices of the goods you wish to sell, buy goods, and yes sell them as well. While this is usually a very easy process many times later in the game you'll find yourself being bitten by the market "fee".
This fee works in the same way as it does in real life. A percentage (Consider this a tax) of your items sell price is deducted when you finally list it. This tax is removed from your on hand gold forever. Even if you cancel your market item to reprice it or maybe to trade it to a friend. You still lose that gold. It is a very major aspect that many players often forget about completely.
But there is a way around it.
This is where Mystore comes in. Mystore is an option accessed through the My Info tab at the top of the screen. Once you've clicked it you'll see an option titled MyStore.
Upon opening this you will in fact be in the beginning stages of making untaxed gold. From here you place the items you wish to sell in your main characters inventory slot (The one's straight across from his picture.) These items are now capable of being placed in the store. Upon selecting them simply type in the price you wish to sell it/them for and click register. (Remember once registered you must close the store and reopen it to make any changes to price/quantity.)
Once all that is done simply click open store and viola. Above your head there should be text stating what items you are selling and for how much. That's it. Sit back, be patient and wait for them to sell. All sorts of people look at the prices of items through here. Be warned though when the item sells, though you pay no tax the gold goes DIRECTLY to your in hand gold. This means it is not safely stored in your bank should you die.
2) Buying From / Checking MyStore:
The next most important part is of course how to find deals and buy items from the MyStore. This is a relatively simple task. Using the same means as opening a store. You simply would click the "Find Buy" button instead of registering any items. From here you'd merely type in the name of the item you'd like to buy (or check the price of) and hit enter. The game will then offer you choices close to the words you typed. Pick your desired item and check if there are any for sale!
If you should find what you want merely select it and click buy. From there you'll have the item! Simple right?
3) Why Should I Buy / Sell From MyStore?
This is also an easy one. Most players only use one or the other. By this I mean the market or MyStore. It creates a situation where a skilled bargain hunter can find a great deal. Though an OSS might be listed in the market for 300 million gold. It might only be listed in MyStore for 200 million. Another big reason for it. Is that high ticket items (Things that would yield over 50m gold.) Generally are only found on the MyStore.
This is due to the seller not wanting to pay a huge tax penalty to put their item up for sale. (After all who wants to pay 4 million gold cause an item is worth 400 million right?)
So not only is it the premier place to find expensive items. It's also a great place to more effectively sell your own goods.
So be sure to check it out the next time you have something you want to sell =)

Hello there. This blog is meant to be an informative text to help guide you in your journey towards greatness in the online MMORPG, Atlantica Online.
While I am by no means the absolute expert's, expert... I have been playing the game for quite a while. Have grown enamored with it. And had to learn many a thing from trial error. The guides I will post are meant to help you get away from such trial and error... And to reach whatever goal you hoped to find from the game.
We will be covering things from how to successfully make gold, to how to level up your characters through specific stages in the game. We'll also cover many confusing aspects and complicated facets of this wonderfully dynamic and exciting game.
